Now days every person in our society is suffering from different Physical pains. The usually Pains associated with our community are knee pain, back pain, and cervical vertebrae pain. They are taking treatment but these types of pain still persist. The question arises even if there is a treatment then why they still suffering from it?

The best way to overcome is to find out the actual causes and factors which initiating pain. Not only adult, Infact School going children, youngster and old people also affected by these kinds of pain. I would like to share the basic reason which causes these particular pains. People sometime ignore this, but in eventide it brings a major harm that can lead to inability to do daily tasks. The Main reason behind it, which we usually ignore, is related to our Posture. Body postures during any work or task have great importance. Due to wrong Position and bad Postures, these pains arises. We can easily overcome these pains by correcting our posture.

What is Posture?

Posture is the position of the body in which you hold your body upright against gravity while standing, sitting, or lying down.

What Is Good posture?

Minimal stress on the vertebral joints and supporting ligaments and the body segments balanced around the center of gravity.

Benefits of having good posture:

1)It facilitate breathing.
2) Increases concentration and thinking ability.
3) Improve your image.
4) Feel even better about yourselves.
5) Avoid health complications.
6) Decrease abnormal stresses.
7) Reduce the development of pathological condition.

What is Poor/Bad Posture?

Poor posture increased strain on body and less efficient, cause of various physiological and anatomical impairment.

Negative effect of poor posture:

1)It Sore Muscles.
2) Develops Spinal Curvature.
3) Vertebral subluxations occur due to bad posture.
4) Blood Vessel Constriction caused by poor posture.
5) Nerve Constriction.

What are Postural faults?

1)Postural pain syndromes.
2) Postural dysfunction.
3) Poor postural dysfunction.

Postural pain syndromes

These occurs when postural deviation from normal alignment but no structural limitation. Postural pain result from mechanical stress but will be relieved by activity or a change of posture.

POSTURAL DYSFUNCTION:
There is shorting of soft tissue and muscle weakness, either due to poor posture habits or trauma to the soft tissues.

What are Poor Postural Habits?

Poor postural habits especially occur in developing child, may leads to adaptive changes in muscles and soft tissues and abnormal stresses on growing bone.

How to improve your posture:

1)Identify your key motivation for having a good posture.
2) Pretend your body is held by a string.
3) Set a reminder to check in on your posture.
4) Get a head, shoulder and back massage.
5) Eliminate bad habits that cultivate bad postures.
6) Get a good quality chair.
7)  Place your butt at the innermost edge of the chair.
8) Get a back cushion.
9) Ground both your feet when standing or sitting.
10) Invest in a good bed and pillow.
11) Avoid carrying heavy items.
12) Engage in exercises which strengthen your back.
13) Get a professional assessment.

Characteristic of postural abnormalities:

1) Relaxes or swayback posture.
2) Hyper lordotic posture.
3) Flat back posture.
4) Scoliosis.
5) Increased kyphosis (dowager’s hump)
6) Flat upper back.
7) Forward head.
8) Flat neck.

So, be with good posture when exercising, using the computer, sitting, walking, etc. By using these tips we can easily get rid of different painful conditions if we workout on our posture and in turn better prevent ourselves from different health related problems.
